great devotion today.
… being justified freely by His grace … —Romans 3:24 The gospel of the grace of God awakens an intense longing in human souls and an equally intense resentment, because the truth that it reveals is not palatable or easy to swallow. There is a certain pride in people that causes them to give and give, but to come and accept a gift is another thing. I will give my life to...

Khmer Language
The Khmer language is a pretty difficult language to learn.  It is not a tonal language like Chinese, and there are so many vowels!  The language that it is most similar to is French because when one pronounces “b” and “p” it sounds very different from English.  I learned one new phrase today since we only had 15 mins of language learning.  We mostly went through how...

Efficiency
I realized that I’m rather efficient when I’m not looking at Facebook!  It should be a logical assumption, but after deactivating it, I’m twice as fast in doing work.  I just finished editing and writing my essay for D-lab, and now I’m onto my American Lit essay on how the books The Woman Warrior and Housekeeping talk about memory and forgetting.  It’s a really...

It's a rainymood kind of day
It really surprises me how fast time is passing.  It’s already October, and I feel like I just moved into Wellesley yesterday.  I even look at pictures from the past two years, and it’s like…did this really happen? has this been so long ago? But even though the passing of time continually hits me hard every so often, I do feel that I have learned so much, so so much these past...
